We are a small southern Vermont
non profit boxer dog rescue whose
mission is the rescue, rehabilitation, and finding
excellent forever homes for these dogs.
We Love Boxers!

Boxer Rescue of S. VT is
a small In home Rescue 100% non profit founded
by a retired vet tech and a couple amazingly dedicated
volunteer foster care-givers,. We do not have a ‘shelter’;
we share our homes with our foster dogs,
they become part of our families,
we provide medical care and rehabilitate,
retrain, recondition these abandoned,
Neglected, abused, and needy dogs until adopted.
We pull dogs off death row at high-kill shelters,
and as space and finances allow we take in boxers who are found
as strays or are given up by owner due to urgent situation.
Most of the dogs coming to us who are in need of lots of
medical care, training, emotional balancing, housebreaking,
crate training, social behavior modification & more...
Then after lots of love, patience and special care
and only when they are emotionally and physically ready,
We Carefully adopt out our precious fur-babies to properly screened families.

Boxer rescue of southern Vermont
Strives to consistently provide
family member type fostering,
feed an enrichment, diet,
and provide medical care
obedience training
and dogs live and socialize with their foster
families and their other pets,
We make sure our Foster babies
get plenty of exercise, and playtime
in a safe, supervised area, as well as
lots of fun play time, walks and snuggles!
Most importantly,
respect for each animal's individual needs,
characteristics, and physical
and behavioral limitations
come before the desires and expectations
of their human caretakers
and adoption applicants.
Right now we are in need of
financial donations for veterinary care
and running the rescue (pull fees,
transportation of animals,
pet food, medicines, heart-worm and
flea preventatives, crates,
cages, toys, and cleaning supplies)

that we can use at our veterinarian and
pet supply stores.

adoption applicants permitted
admittance into our Boxer or
Parrot rescue foster homes .
This is for the privacy and safety
of our children and families
and for the prevention of disease
introduction to the animals,
theft or other crimes occurring.

OUR PETS ARE NOT FREE!
Some may ask;
Why is there an adoption fee?
Because "Free is not in the pets best interest"!
and if you want one of our little death row survivor champs it wont be free!
It wasn't free for us to go get them, vet them, love them back to health and re-train,
and un-phobia it, transport it to and from vets, shelters, dog trainers,
buy it‘s food, collar and other necessities... I expect no less commitment
from the person intending to keep it for the rest of its life!
~~~Notice to Applicants:~~~
Dogs will not be introduced to potential adopters until
all paperwork is complete, references checked, your home is inspected,
we’ve called your vet , contacted your landlord to be sure you’re allowed pets,
and all has been approved.
Additionally, foster families do not deliver dogs or other pets,
Adoptions are completed by appointment at
public meeting place near us in S. VT,
upon application approval.
This is for the health & safety of all concerned.
